<p>The Scion FR-S will be available in a manual transmission starting at $  25,000 plus MSRP and the automatic will start at $  26,000 plus MSRP. The Scion FR-S will be available in raven, asphalt, ultramarine, firestorm, hot lava, argento and whiteout.</p>

<p>“As expected we already have many customers calling and coming to the dealership to see the Scion FR-S,” Walker said. “We know that when we do receive the first Scion FR-S, it will not last long before it is purchased.” </p>

The challenge is to design 10-foot by 10-foot white rooms using outrageous elements such as candies or more than 1,500 flowers. Mark’s episode will air on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 9pm/8c.</p>

<p>This is not his first foray into television. While still a student at FIDM, Mark was part of Design School, a docu-design series on HGTV that followed the hopes and designer dreams of elite design students in the SuperLab group at FIDM. Mark’s talents earned him one of FIDM’s Designer of Tomorrow scholarships and he won Elle Décor’s “Legends of Hollywood” set design competition. </p>

<p>The White Room Challenge is a chance for the designer to be original, eccentric, and outrageous. The show, which is hosted by David Bromstad and features a judging panel led by Jamie Durie, features up-and-coming and established designers from around the U.S. competing for a grand prize of $  10,000 in cash. <p>“This week was the week we submitted the manuscript for our book, &#8216;The Immortality Edge&#8217;, to the publishers two years ago, so it’s kind of a second year anniversary for us. It’s ironic that another anti-aging book, which is destined to become a mainstream best seller for sure, is also coming out this week and talks about things that were the core message of our book.”</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Woynarowski is referring to Suzanne Somers&#8217; latest book, Bombshell, which is available in book stores this week.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“With the release of Suzanne’s book, telomerase activation is sure to go main stream as an anti-aging therapy. It’s ironic to see and hear words like TA-65, telomeres and telomerase activation, coming from the mouth of a famous actress!” he says. “When we wrote about them, they were pretty much secrets to the general public and unknown to most doctors. TA-65 in particular, was a mystery. People would listen in earnest to the science when they realized that a real anti-aging compound had arrived, but it was  a long hard road to hoe, to get them to understand it was here now and they can start taking it themselves, right now!”</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Telomeres are the biologic time clocks at the ends of our genetic material. Every time a cell divides, they get shorter and that cell marches one step closer to death. Telomerase, the enzyme that adds length to telomeres, appears to be able to reverse many of the changes associated with cellular aging and actually extends the lifespan of many cells. TA-65 is a naturally derived substance that turns on telomerase in the cell.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Woynarowski, who goes simply by “Dr Dave”, became known as Dr Telomere to his friends and clients. He was among the original seven distributors of TA-65, the only telomerase activator with human studies available.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>He notes, “We were so excited to have this amazing compound. It has so much potential to help people be healthy and live longer. It was no small honor to be among the first to be able to provide the world with Nobel Prize-winning technology in a pill! When the Nobel Prize was give to Drs. Blackburn, Greider and Szostak, for their pioneering work in Telomere Biology, we knew we had to write our book and get information to the people about things like telomeres, telomerase and TA-65.” So he wrote The Immortality Edge with co-authors Blackburn and Fossel.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“Our book is all about telomeres and telomerase activation, including TA-65, from cover to cover. We tell people what to do, what to eat, what exercises to do and what supplements to take to maximize the health of their telomeres. Keeping your telomeres healthy and happy is the central theme of our book.  Now, with Ms. Somers&#8217; new book, we expect a significant increase in the number of people who are aware of this therapy and who want to do something about it.”</p>

<p>When asked what changes he has seen in the field since The Immortality Edge was published, he says, “Lots! The gratifying thing is that everything we wrote about in our book has pretty much come to pass.  Originally, because the field was so new to most people, we were accused of being ‘speculative’. People had a hard time believing there were almost 35 years of science behind what we were writing about. Doctors and scientists became emotionally involved in combating our recommendations, saying we lacked evidence. Most simply ignored the extensive reference section I put together in the book, and refused to believe there was that much data already out there. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>TA-65 was a tough sell as well. It was and is expensive, but in the early days we had to keep our mouths shut about the human study that was published, just before our book came out and showed how well TA-65 worked to ‘de-age’ the immune system and other areas of the body. We also did not have a good commercially available test to prove what we said was going to happen was actually happening. Now Life Length has released their advanced telomere assay, so we can send people for testing if they want it. Now people accept what we say as truth!”</p>

<p>What about TA-65? </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“I have been on TA-65 for three years now and I will not stop it any time soon! It’s helped my energy levels, my mental focus, helped me reduce body fat and reduced my athletic recovery time. My Mom is 86, still drives and plays bridge and never misses her dose either! I hear great things about eyesight, sex drive and reduced wrinkles from my clients on TA-65. Plenty of people are able to reduce their prescription pill load, with their doctor’s approval, on TA-65. “&#13;<br />
<br />What about the future? Woynarowski thinks Suzanne Somers&#8217; book will get more and more people interested in telomeres, telomerase and TA-65. “I think it’s great that she mentions these things publically and in her new book. One famous person can do more to get people focused on what is and has been available to them than an army of Dr Dave’s! It is going to make the job of educating the world about this field a lot easier from here on out.  The secret is out! It makes a great anniversary present!”</p>

<p> Teezilla, founded in late 2011, connects both professional and amateur designers, artists and illustrators to create a community where they decide who wins, with sharing and commenting on each others ideas.</p>

<p>Joshua Marshall, an illustration graduate from Kingston University London, created an eye catching and thought provoking black and white design entitled Motubu Aka &#8211; the all-powerful warrior, who because of his endurance and inflexible will to win, goes from conquest to conquest, leaving fire in his wake. Marshall is currently based in North London and his imagery surfaces in a diverse range of commissions for tee-shirts, posters, magazine and book illustrations. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>“I’m very pleased with the feedback from my design for the Teezilla competition” Marshall said. “I’m excited to have won the first Teezilla prize and hope to create more designs for the brand. Thank you to everyone that voted for my &#8216;Motubu&#8217; design.”</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The illustration proved popular earning 145 votes in its 14 day cycle, around 22% of the total votes cast for last month.  Runner up was Joshua Owen’s design Queen Panda with 126 votes and Teo Surman took a close third with Yankee War earning 123 votes.  All the entries from March will be pulled together and the site organisers will choose a further two designs to be made into tee’s and put them up for sale in the Teezilla shop.</p>

<p>Teezilla co-creator Mark Panay commented &#8220;The response and quality of artwork on the Teezilla site in just a few weeks has been amazing. We remain committed to encouraging people to visit the site and further boost its profile by entering their bold and creative artwork. I&#8217;m surprised that there hasn&#8217;t been more crazy slogans but there&#8217;s always next month for that…&#8221;</p>

<p>Teezilla is going strong with 11,345 visitors last month and high quality illustrations being entered into the competition. The site can be accessed via http://teezilla.rusic.com where users are encouraged to visit throughout the weeks to see the design entries as they are submitted, and to vote.  </p>

<p> To honor the career of President Richard E. Wylie and celebrate the impressive list of improvements and achievements of Endicott College under his 25-year tenure, the College will host a Gala Celebration on May 5. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>When President Wylie arrived in spring of 1987, Endicott College was a two-year women’s college with an enrollment of 583 students and approximately 200 employees. The campus consisted of 28 buildings on 140 acres, and the operating budget was $  7.7 million with an endowment of $  3.9 million dollars. Twenty-five years later, this co-educational college will begin offering its first doctoral program in the fall. Almost 5,000 students study on the Beverly campus and around the world in a variety of majors that did not exist 25 years ago.  There are 51 buildings on the 235-acre oceanfront campus, and the operating budget is $  85,828 million with an endowment of $  38.7 million.  The college employs over 600 people.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>This May Dr. Wylie celebrates his 25th anniversary leading Endicott College. He has overseen a remarkable transformation, guiding Endicott from its position as a small, two-year women’s college to its status as one of the great success stories in higher education today.  The College has become increasingly selective, setting strict academic standards for admission and accepting 50% of its applicant pool. Endicott earned four-year status in 1988 and became coeducational in 1994. In 1996 the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies was founded and now offers Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Science in Technology and Nursing (M.S.), Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.)and Master of Education (M.Ed.) degrees as well as accelerated Bachelor degrees for adult learners. In December, 2011 the College received approval to offer its first doctoral program, a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, the first approved doctoral program on the North Shore. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>During his tenure, Dr. Wylie has been instrumental in expanding the College’s academic offerings. While internship and experiential learning remains the core of an Endicott education, over 90% of the degree programs now available at Endicott did not exist in 1987.  Most recently the College has created new programs in Biology and Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Political Science, History, Homeland Security, and International Studies. In addition to the Beverly campus, the College operates campuses in Mexico City, Mexico and Madrid, Spain. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The Beverly campus has seen remarkable change, almost doubling its landmass in the past ten years. A new Center for the Arts, residence halls, a state-of-the-art athletic facility with four new fields, and in-classroom implementation of cutting edge technology are but a few of the latest enhancements. Nearly all of the 51 buildings on campus have undergone redesign or renovation, including a major library addition and a new graduate school building. </p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Dr. Wylie became the fifth president of Endicott after successful careers as a professor at the University of Connecticut, a department chair at Temple University, dean at the University of Colorado, and a vice president and dean at Lesley University. He began his professional career as a teacher in the Gloucester Public Schools.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State University and a master’s and doctorate from Boston University.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>He served as President of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, which accredits more than 2,500 schools, colleges, and universities in New England. He has consulted with ministries of education and government agencies in Ethiopia, Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. His accomplishments have earned him such recognitions as the Dr. Jack Mombourquette Award for International Education, the Dr. Richard J. Bradley Award for his contributions to school improvement through accreditation in New England, and he was recently named an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow. Dr. Wylie was one of the founders and first chair of the Board of Trustees for the Urban College of Boston, a higher education institution committed to the advancement and education of the urban community.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Dr. Wylie, affectionately called “Doc” by the students, is heavily involved in the city of Beverly and on the North Shore as a volunteer and supporter of community initiatives. He is an active member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Board of Directors of the Beverly School for the Deaf: The Children’s Center for Communication, Main Streets Board of Directors, Beverly Rotary and he is a Director of the Beverly Cooperative Bank. He can be seen with Endicott students around the city as they engage in community service projects, and has long been viewed as one who stimulates and encourages others to become involved.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Dr. Wylie has authored numerous publications for professional journals, as well as monographs, book chapters, and a variety of children’s books and curriculum materials. He is married to Mary Bateman Wylie of North Andover. They have four children: Kathleen Wylie Rocco of Grafton, Christopher of Bridgewater, Brian of Middleton, and Gregory of Concord. They have seven grandchildren.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>His motivation for education came from his father, who taught at Boston University for forty-three years. The tradition will continue as his son Brian completes his Ph.D. in Higher Education in the near future.</p>

<br />How much a woman spends or saves may impact her dating potential online. Women who spend freely view many profiles but do not communicate often. eHarmony scientists term this the “window shopping effect”. More men will talk to a woman who saves, whilst fewer men will talk to a woman who says she spends freely. The exception is that men who spend freely will talk to women who spend freely – surely a recipe for an empty joint bank account.</p>

<br />Stretching and bending is THE most popular form of exercise in terms of appealing to the opposite sex, for both men and women. Regardless of gender, men and women who mention yoga in their profiles receive significantly more communication than those who don’t.</p>

Working in partnership with the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, a multi-disciplinary research team gathered and analysed data to identify the patterns that predict compatibility for couples throughout the United Kingdom. After conducting the research, eHarmony developed models of compatibility specific to the United Kingdom resident population and now offers a UK relationship service based on a series of scientific models known as the Compatibility Matching System®. eHarmony.co.uk has amassed 2 million registered users since launching in 2008 and is affiliated with dating partner, eDarling, across Europe.</p>
