Guiding Principles

New West Press Co. Ltd. provides print services, including book and flat sheet printing, point-of-purchase and display materials; and fine art printing, to a variety of corporations and organizations in the not-for-profit, private, and public sectors. Working equally well with design firms, advertising agencies, and in-house graphics technicians, New West Press helps organizations to maintain integrity in design and function of their printed materials, as well as maximize their financial resources.

Beginning as the publisher of New West magazine in the 1960s, Mission Press moved from Sudbury, Ontario to Vancouver, BC, changing the name to New West Press. By the mid-80s, the company had turned seriously to commercial printing, adding art prints and catalogues to its repertoire. An expansion of the production facilities in 2000 allows for continued growth of operations and services.

Many of the New West Press staff have been with the company for over 15 years. No matter what the "service anniversary date", each craftsman has acquired expertise through both on-the-job and vocational training, and maintains and updates skills through continued professional development.
